In an immersion language program it is very important for you to select the lodging that best meets your personal and language needs. Most of our students select living with a Mexican host family. This experience will offer you, not only a rewarding opportunity to practice your Spanish, but to learn much more about Mexican culture. Our host families are carefully selected by our Housing office and they are continually evaluated by the students and trained and supervised by Aztlan Language School.
Home stay includes full room and board, 3 meals per day, freshly and carefully prepared. You can be sure that your host family will always serve purified water and disinfected fruits and vegetables. Sheets will be changed once a week and towels twice a week. If your host family doesn't live within walking distance from school, they will provide transportation to and from the school. Please ensure that your family includes you in all of their family activities, while also affording you privacy when needed. See Housing Rates
